Sowjanya murder case: DYFI to lead 24 hr stir

Despite one arrest the mystery shrouded around Sowjanya murder case does not seem to be cleared. Hence, demanding CBI probe into the case, several organizations have decided to stage a 24 hour sit-in protest from February 4 under the aegis of Belthangady taluk unit of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI)
The sit-in protest will be held in front of Belthangady taluk office.
“The case has created suspicion among people, and has plenty of unanswered questions. The police has arrested a mentally-unstable person in connection to the case merely to stub off the outrage shown by people, while the real culprits are roaming freely. CBI probe is a must if they are to be caught,” said DYFI taluk president Lokesh Kudyadi.
Various pro-people activists, Facebook Page, women rights’ groups and leaders of various organisations from the district will take part in the protest.
